23 September 2008 - Moscow, Marriott Tverskaya Hotel, Nevsky HallAHConferences is proud to present a master class from prominent logistics experts Maria Kanaeva and Alexander Sementsov. Everything that they haven’t yet said in their many public talks or journal articles will be covered over the course of this day-long event. Kanaeva and Semetsov ‘s extensive practical experience will be focused on the most acute problems related to building a company’s logistics system. In addition to the time allocated to questions after the talk, the organizers have set aside a special hour at the end of the master class for further discussion of interesting topics in a round-table format.

Maria Kanaeva, logistics director Lanxess, Bayer
Maria Kanaeva has worked at the Moscow office of the Bayer chemicals group since 2001. In 2005 she was named logistics director of Bayer’s Lanxess division. She has delivered several talks at various conferences and seminars. Kanaeva is a member of the Moscow club of logistics specialists. Her articles have appeared in the journals Logistik i Sistema, LogInfo, Kommerchesky direktor, and she is a contributing editor to Logistika i Upravlenie.
Sementsov has worked in logistics since 1998. From 2002 to 2004 he directed the department of warehouse management for Palma Group (Ukraine). He was directly responsible for developing a standardized layout for the company’s warehouse complexes. Sementsov headed several equipment search projects. In 2004 he was appointed logistics director of Sibirsky Bereg NPP (Russia). In his two years there he created and realized a logistics strategy for the company. Since October 2006 he has been a managing director of logistics at Apple City (Kazakhstan). In 2007 Sementsov became logistics director at Agama Group. At present he is general director of ROST. Sementsov has authored many publications in the press, and has taken part in numerous conferences for specialists.
